Who we are
Great Icon's was established in 2010 by Mr. Andy Rasool and is a BBBEE Level 1 company, thus customers will benefit from a 135% procurement spend recognition. Ownership comprises of HDSA individuals that is 100% Black Owned with 51% Women Owned coupled with fourteen years of industry experience.
Great Icons, currently services the following industries, i.e. OEM's, Mining, and Manufacturing. The company has grown over the years by acquiring, new equipment, specialized skills and knowledge to cost effectively meet customer expectations. Hence all components are manufactured and fabricated in-house and in line with the relevant ISO and SANS quality standards required.
Great Icon's internal skills development aims to recruit and train unemployed Youth of South Africa, with the objective to create more qualified artisans and technicians.
Great Icons is also registered with Gold 1 International (Mining Company) as an ESD (Enterprise Development) Company. This initiative is also supported by SEDA and the CSIR for product testing, design and development as well as governmental verification.
